This trendy Amsterdam hotel is set in a converted church

Pirates, the BUNK Hotel Amsterdam is a fairly new hotel in Amsterdam's trendy Noord neighborhood. It's got a unique and fun design, and has rates starting from £75* per night.

This place is set in converted church and it finds the perfect balance between a hostel and a hotel, offering affordable rooms and private pods at the same time.

The architecture still shows a lot of the former church. Rooms are created as white blocks that seem to float in the structure. There's a library and a "secret" staircase leading to a vinyl collection and a recording studio and radio station!

Ratings are great with 4.5/5 on TripAdvisor and it even won a 2021 Travelers' Choice Award.
