Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel is the world's northern-most hotel, a few kilometres north of the Alta Valley. Open every year between December and April, the hotel is reuiblt every year out of 250 tonnes of ice with a new design!

The hotel has two restaurants: Maku and Lavvu. Both serve locally sourced ingredients (including reindeer, moose, and seafood - you won't get that anywhere else). Another incredible draw? Why, cosying up with a drink in the ice bar!

Of course, it's not just the hotel you're here: you have the arctic wilderness on your doorstep! From sled rides and reindeer spotting to ice sculpting and spotting the Northern Lights, there's plenty to do in this winter wonderland.
