Winter has arrived 🥶 Spot the Northern Lights from a 5⭐️ igloo in Norway! 🇳🇴

WOW 😍 a unique winter getaway at the world's northern-most luxe igloo ❄️

From £351 per night

Published by

Pirates, check out this once-in-a-lifetime igloo hotel in Alta, Norway. This five-star hotel is an absolute haven for a luxe, winter-wonderlandesque vaycay - it might have a hefty price tag but it's for good reason!

Sorrisniva Igloo Hotel is the world's northern-most hotel, a few kilometres north of the Alta Valley. Open every year between December and April, the hotel is reuiblt every year out of 250 tonnes of ice with a new design!

The hotel has two restaurants: Maku and Lavvu. Both serve locally sourced ingredients (including reindeer, moose, and seafood - you won't get that anywhere else). Another incredible draw? Why, cosying up with a drink in the ice bar!

Of course, it's not just the hotel you're here: you have the arctic wilderness on your doorstep! From sled rides and reindeer spotting to ice sculpting and spotting the Northern Lights, there's plenty to do in this winter wonderland.

When it comes to bed time, fear not! You won't be cold, thanks to the thick animal furs you'll get to cosy up in to. And how many people can say they've stayed in an igloo!?

Prices start from £351 for one night on, but can rise during peak season.

*We might be Pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. Here’s the catch: with deals this hot, things change quickly: flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. Mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. But, if you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry: we’re working on more great offers.
