Pirates, here's some inspiration on where to go for a winter getaway with amazing wildlife-watching potential. Visit the seal colony at Blakeney Point -- with Grey seal pubs being born November until January. Get up early and watch the geese leave for warmer regions from Snettisham on The Wash. Long coastal walks, cosy pubs with log fires and Norfolk mussle dishes -- it's all in the mix here.
Prices for staycations in England are generally still quite high. We found this well-rated £69 per-night hotel (+£10 on Saturdays) in the historic market town of Kings Lynn on Wowcher. You can book until March 2022.
