HolidayPirates: Participation terms and conditions

1. Prize draw and organisers

The promoter of this online prize draw "Holiday Pirates"(hereinafter referred to as “prize draw”) is HolidayPirates Ltd, 1 Royal Exchange London EC3V 3DG (hereinafter referred to as “HolidayPirates”) in collaboration with Bourne Holidays Limited trading as Warner Leisure Hotels (hereinafter referred to as "WLH") The participation in the prize draw is governed exclusively by the following participation terms and conditions.

2. Participation

2.1 Entrants must be at least 18 years old. Excluded from participation are employees of holidaypirates or Bourne Holidays Limited trading as Warner Leisure Hotels

2.2 Participation in the prize draw is possible on the post of @holidaypirates on 'Instagram' from 17 to 24th May

2.3 In order to participate in the draw, participants have to follow @holidaypirates, follow @warnerhotels and comment on the prize draw post

Only people who have a public Instagram account can participate in this prize draw.

2.4 Only those who meet the conditions described in para.2.3 enter the prize draw. HolidayPirates cannot be held liable for late and/or incomplete entries.

3. Execution and carrying out of the prize win

3.1 Only the prizes specified in detail below will be drawn:

One winning entrant will win a three-night Strictly Come Dancing Weekend Experience for two adults at Heythrop Park, in Oxfordshire from 7 June to 10 June 2024. The prize package comprises:

Three nights hotel accommodation at Heythrop Park based on two people sharing a Deluxe Room on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis. The winner can choose the room type (double or twin), subject to availability.

Strictly Come Dancing weekend experience, including meet the professional dancers (Nikita Kuzmin & Jowita Pryzstal, Neil Jones and Nancy Xu, Katya Jones, Luba Mushtuk and Vito Coppola), dance classes and shows, plus a behind the scenes costume tour.

Breakfast for two each morning in a choice of one of two restaurants within the hotel.

Dinner for two each evening at a choice of three restaurants within the hotel. Please note, lunch and any drinks (non-alcoholic and alcoholic) will be an additional charge.

Access to leisure facilities including pool, sauna, steam room, outdoor hot tubs and relaxation room.

Live music and entertainment including from the hotel house band.

A selection of activities including archery, rifle shooting, leisure facilities, garden tours, tea tasting, plus more. Please note, some activities may be subject to an additional charge as set out here: https://www.warnerleisurehotels.co.uk/hotels/heythrop-park-hotel.

3.2 The winner will be notified by a message sent to the Instagram account via direct message from the official holidaypirates instagram account. The draw will be held after 24th May at 4:30 PM. The winner must confirm, using the contact routes specified in the notification, the receipt of the notification as well as their name and address within three days from being notified of the prize by the prize draw promoter. Otherwise, the right to the prize ceases and will be allocated to another entrant. In this respect, the entrant is responsible for making sure that they take note of the notification of the prize from HolidayPirates via their email account. The prices communicated during the prize draw through our communication channels are converted into local currencies using foreign exchange rates applicable on the campaign start day.

3.3 The prize will be arranged with Bourne Holidays Limited trading as Warner Leisure Hotels

3.4 The prize is non-refundable, non-transferable, non-changeable and cannot be exchanged for a cash alternative.

3.5 The contest is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with Facebook or Instagram. Facebook and Instagram must not be contacted regarding the prize draw.

3.6 HolidayPirates is not liable for the organization and execution of the trips.

3.7 HolidayPirates are relieved of any responsibility should errors occur in the transmission of the winning data.

3.8 The prize(s) may be considered a taxable benefit to the winner(s). The winner(s) will be solely and directly responsible for accounting for and paying to any relevant tax authority, any tax liability arising on their prize.

3.9 . A winner will be chosen by a random draw performed by a computer process on 24 May

4. Exclusion from participation

4.1 HolidayPirates reserves the right to exclude entrants from the prize draw if they violate these terms and conditions.

4.2 Moreover, HolidayPirates reserves the right to exclude from the prize draw entrants who use prohibited tools or otherwise gain advantages through manipulation (in particular, collective or repeated entries if such are not expressly allowed by HolidayPirates). This is the case when, for example, automatic scripts, hacking tools, trojans or viruses are used or when an entrant gains an advantage through other prohibited means. Also providing false personal details and using fake profiles may result in the exclusion from the prize draw. As the case may be, prizes may be denied ex post and/or be claimed back.

5. Early cancellation or discontinuation of the prize draw

HolidayPirates is entitled to discontinue the prize draw ahead of schedule, or suspend or modify the prize draw in the event of unforeseen circumstances beyond the organiser's control that render the carrying out of the prize draw according to original plans difficult or unreasonable for HolidayPirates. This includes in particular, but without limitation, unauthorised intervention of third parties, technical problems with hard- or software that are beyond the organiser's control as well as violations of law which are directly connected with the carrying out of the prize draw including, in particular, tampering with the prize draw process.

6. Processing of data in connection with the prize draw

Details of the data processed in the context of the prize draw and the participants' rights in this respect can be found in our data protection policy, see below.

7. Final provisions

By participating in the prize draw the user waives his/her rights to any legal action relating to the prize draw or prize claimed.
