Although the Red List will remain and countries could go back on it
The transport secretary, Grant Shapps, has confirmed that the last remaining seven countries on England's travel Red List will be removed at 04:00am on Monday 1 November.
Fully-vaccinated travellers arriving from Colombia, Peru, Panama, the Dominican Republic, Haiti, Venezuela and Ecuador will no longer have to quarantine in a hotel.
However, the Red List system will be kept in place and a country could be added back on the list if cases go back up.
Scotland and Wales have confirmed the change will also apply to arriving passengers.
