No testing needed to enter the UK
Transport Secretary Grant Shapps has confirmed that people arriving into the UK will no longer have to take Covid tests if they are fully vaccinated.
The easing of testing measures is "good news for families, businesses and the travel sector," he said.
The changes were introduced today at 4am just in time for half-term holidaymakers.
Rules have also been eased for unvaccinated travellers, who will no longer have to take a day eight test. However, they will still need to do pre-departure and day two tests.
Passenger locator forms are staying, but they have been simplified.
