We found a way to save £360 on a 15-day trekking holiday to the Everest base camp. For £940 per person, this trip will take you as close as you can get to the world's tallest peak without having to be a professional alpinist.

Saying this, you'll find yourself trekking above 5,000m at times. This adventure isn't for the faint-hearted and you need to be in very good physical condition.

The price doesn't cover international flights, so you'll need to make your way to Kathmandu. Here's what's included:

  • Accommodation (two nights in a hotel or guesthouse, and the rest in tea houses and trekking lodges)

  • Internal flights

  • Mountain guides, porters to help carry the gear and city guide in Kathmandu

  • One dinner

When should you go? Most attempts to summit Everest take place mid–May. But, there is a much bigger window if you're only making it to base camp. This deal is to travel in September, which is considered one of the best months.

Details

  • The trip start in Kathmandu on 9 September

  • Other dates are available but cost more

  • You'll need to sort out your own Nepalese visa

  • The price is for one traveller (you'll have to share a room with someone else on the trip

  • This trip is operated by Intrepid, but is bookable on TourHub

Additional Information

*We might be Pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. Here’s the catch: with deals this hot, things change quickly. Flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. Mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. But, if you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry: we’re working on more great offers.
