Fancy hopping over to France for the day? 🚗 Go from Dover to Calais and back by car from £38!

Irish Ferries is offering £38 one-day return trips between Dover and Calais on the ferry, which is at least 70% off the usual rates.

You can take up to nine people as long as they're in one car, which would make this deal an even bigger bargain than it already is (we're talking less than a fiver per person round-trip). BUT to be really clever, we suggest going with a relatively empty car so you can load up on the finest cheeses, wines and pastries and bring them back to the UK for Christmas! You can take as much luggage as you want on the ferry... so it'd be rude not to return with some tasty treats. Plus, you can do some duty-free shopping just in time for Christmas.

The quaint town of Arras (a 75-minute drive from Calais) currently has a Christmas market on until 30th December too, so you can go there to really get in the festive mood. 🎄

The deal is available now until 11 December for travel up to 14 December.

You can also upgrade to Club Class for £12 per person each way, so you can get free drinks and snacks while on board.
