Magazine: work remotely on the beautiful Caribbean island of Dominica
That's right, Pirates, thanks to a new visa scheme you can work remotely on the beautiful Caribbean island of Dominica for up to 18 months. Somewhat nicer than the kitchen table...
Not heard of Dominica? It is an island in the Caribbean archipelago, located between Martinique and Guadeloupe. It's a paradise for lovers of unspoiled nature.
Also, they speak English which is handy.
Rivers, waterfalls, seabed, tropical forest are part of the daily life of the inhabitants of the island.
The WIN "Work in Nature" visa allows remote work to settle there for a long period of up to 18 months.
In order to apply, applicants must make a non-refundable application fee of $100 (£73), while the visa itself is $800 (£583) for single applicants and $1200 (£875) for families.
Applicants for the island's new visa scheme must be at least 18 years of age, must expect to earn an income of $50,000 (£36,500) or more over the following 12 months or have a means of supporting themselves, their spouse/partner and any dependants.
Here's the Prime Minister talking about it (and look at those dreamy views...)
