The Middle Eastern country will initially open its borders to group tours
The Middle Eastern country of Israel has announced that vaccinated holidaymakers will be able to visit from 23 May, says a Forbes report.
The Israel Ministry of Tourism has announced that it will open its borders to tourists provided they have been fully vaccinated (that means both jabs of a recognised vaccine).
The scheme will initially be open to group tours with a phased approach allowing individuals to enter from July.
Visitors will be required to undergo a PCR test before boarding their flight to Israel and upon arrival at Ben Gurion airport in Tel Aviv, travelers will have to undergo a serological test to prove their vaccination.
