Under 12s are banned from the 'ScootinSilence' section
The low-cost airline Scoot is making headlines for being the first airline to have a child-free zone on a service from the UK.
On the seriously cheap London Gatwick to Bangkok Thailand route, flyers can now upgrade to ScootinSilence section near the front of the plane where under-12s are banned.

Having launched in 2012 as a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, Scoot offers a variety of long-haul flights. Their latest route, on a Dreamliner from Gatwick to Bangkok, the tickets go for a staggeringly good value £210.
To add another level of luxury, Scoot also introduced ScootinSilence, an upgrade starting from just £16 to sit in a section of the plane that helps those without children to enjoy a quieter flight and enjoy more legroom than standard economy.
There is also the option to upgrade to ScootPlus, which offers roomy, reclining leather seats, meals, in-flight entertainment and 30kg of baggage included, with tickets starting at £368.
