Pirates, fancy a weekend in Chester, a night out in Newcastle; a day at the seaside in Scarborough or a trip to the Lake District? With this sale by train operator Northern you can snap up one-way tickets from 50p for kids and from £1 for adults.
The train operator's website says they've got tickets even cheaper, but we weren't able to verify that in our research.
Tickets are available for travel from 11 September - 20 October 2023 and we've found the cheapest prices during off-peak travel times.
