We're huge Game of Thrones fans at HolidayPirates, and Kit Harington, who played the moody Jon Snow in the hit TV series, is one of our fave actors.

And as fans, we're seriously considering renting out his ancestral home on Airbnb: though at a price tag of £4,500 per night it will probably account for almost all of our pocket money...

Bizarrely, Kit Harington is actually a descendent of Guy Fawkes’s co-conspirator, Robert Catesby - who failed to blow up parliament in the infamous gunpowder plot. And this home was actually the base used by the conspirators in their plan to blow up King James I!

According to sources, in 1605 Robert Catesby and Guy Fawkes, met in the manor's gatehouse to plan their attack.

The plush pad can accommodate 18 adults in 10 bedrooms - that's almost a whole footie game. The actual house even has a history that nearly spans 1,000 years, as it has a mention in the Domesday Book of 1086.

What a regal lounge, Jon Snow's family are doing alright, aren't they?

Yup the bed looks like the most fluffy inviting thing ever - there goes my inheritance.

The billiards room, could this be the very place the gunpowder plot was hatched? Though, snooker wasn't around then, so perhaps it was over a game of playing cards and mead - just thinking out loud...

The garden is exactly as fancy and lush as you'd expect.

Of course there is a pool, which looks so inviting I'd sell my home to experience a night here.

You can keep yourself limber with a tennis match, as you do.

I'm not sure if the bride below has seen the red wedding episode...

Kit is even starring in a new BBC TV series portraying his ancestor Robert Catesby, check it out below!
