We've all seen the show, the memes, and the iconic scenes that made the second season of The White Lotus an unforgettable wild ride.
Now, it's time we learn more about the breathtaking hotel that serves as its own character in the story.
The luxury hotel in Taormina, Sicily, is called San Domenico Palace, holding more than 100 years of history, with stars such as Sofia Loren, Elizabeth Taylor, and Audrey Hepburn being some of its more notable guests.
Details
The resort was originally a 14th-century convent that did not become a hotel until the end of the 19th century. In fact, it still maintains many historical elements from that time, like the chapel that appears in the series.

As for its location, it is an enclave with a privileged view of Etna and the bay of Taormina. A few meters from the beach of Villagonia and near Isola Bella. As you can see, its surroundings are as beautiful as the resort itself.
It also has bars and several restaurants serving Sicilian cuisine - one of them even has a Michelin star - and a spa area.
The hotel doesn't come cheap. Then again, the price might just be worth it to live our your White Lotus dreams.
