SWEET! Train operator Northern has launched a £1 train ticket SALE

Pirates, fancy a weekend in Chester, a night out in Newcastle; a day at the seaside in Scarborough or a trip to the Lake District – with this sale by train operator Northern you can snap up one-way tickets from £1 to get you to and from destinations in the north of England cheaper.

These discounted tickets will be available between Tuesday, September 6, and Thursday, October 20, while stocks last. For services starting in Nottingham and the Wirral, the last day of travel is Thursday 13 October.

Details

The £1 tickets must be booked at least a week in advance and are only available online. The sale is spread across all of the daily services offered by Northern.

Some peak-time trains have been excluded from the sale.
