You can grab train tickets from half their usual price until 29 January.
Up to 50%
Now is the time to book train tickets if you have UK trips over the next few months.
The Great British Rail Sale is launching today with one million tickets discounted by up to 50%. But you'll need to be quick: the sale ends on 29 January.
Here are some examples of savings:
Portsmouth to Penzance from £21 (regularly £43)
Birmingham to Bristol from £15.30 (regularly £30.60)
Manchester to Leeds from £4.30 (regularly £8.60)
Leicester to Sheffield from £7.30 (regularly £3.60)
The discounts only apply on selected advance and off-peak rail tickets for trips taken between 30 January-15 March.
🏴☠️ Pirate tip: The Trainline are offering an extra 5% off if you book using their app today (23 January). Use code GREATSTART5 at checkout.
As the UK Government is behind the sale, you can buy discounted tickets directly from any of the participating operators.
But the easiest way to search all destinations is to head to the Trainline's website (plus, you can get that extra 5% off we mentioned above).
We might be Pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. Here’s the catch: with deals this hot, things change quickly: flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. Mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. But, if you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry: we’re working on more great offers.
