Calling all romantic Pirates who are after a staycation to remember after this lockdown - The Scarlet Hotel is the ideal place to escape the stresses of the modern world. Set next to the sea, just outside of Newquay, the views you get are incredible.

The is an on site spa for extra R&R and an award winning restaurant for romantic evening meals. Breakfast is included in this price. Boasting stunning views over the sea, the Scarlet hotel is just a hop skip and a jump from the water's edge.

If you're planning something special, or you simply feel like splurging on a night away for your favourite ship mate, then grab a night or two here. Their plush rooms are spacious and have an outdoor area, again with great views. Treat yourself and upgrade to a half board stay. All meals are cooked using local produce in the on site restaurant.

Dogs are welcome to come along and enjoy the time away too (extra fee).

This may not be the cheapest hotel ever, but for a special occasion - it's ideal! With winter nights starting at £250 per night or £335 per night with dinner included. At the moment, you can only book directly through their site. They offer COVID19 protection, if your holiday can’t go ahead, they will re-arrange your stay for a later time. At the point of booking, a 25% deposit is taken. If your stay needs to be postponed, this deposit will be used against a stay at the Scarlet in the next 18 months.
