About your stay
You'll be staying at the Hotel Riu Funana, a lush 5-star resort in the southern part of Sal Island.
The hotel has two lagoon-style pools (including one with a swim-up bar), four restaurants (reservations may be required), a nightclub and a spa.
Snacks and select drinks are available 24 hours a day which is perfect if you're a bit of a night owl.
It's about 300m to the beach and about 1.5km into the centre of Santa Maria.
