Pirates, how about a bargain trip to Pisa and Cinque Terre in Italy?
We've found return flights to Pisa, starting from £21* per person, and you can grab a train for around €22* return to Cinque Terre - it'll take about 2 hours, with some pretty epic views.
We had a look for some great value hotels and found some great central 3-star hotels from £66* per night, You could stay for 3 nights in Pisa and head to Cinque Terre as a day trip or spend 1 night in Riomaggorie in Cinque Terre.
The cheapest dates are in September and October when the weather will still be in the 20's, which is perfect for exploring both areas.

We found a great 3-star central hotel in Pisa from £66* per night (19-22 Sept) with free breakfast and free cancellation.
Although accomodation in Cinque-Terre can be more expensive, we did find a great 3-star affordable option in Riomaggiore (one of the 5 towns) from £84* per night.
Trains
Trains run frequently from Pisa to La Spezia, where you can change and take the train to any of the 5 villages in Cinque Terre (Riomaggiore, Manarola, Corniglia, Vernazza and Monterosso). Your ticket from Pisa to La Spezia is valid for travel to Cinque Terre too and will cost about €10-11 per person each way.
