Includes ✈️ & hotel 😮 How to visit this fairytale French gem on a budget 👇
From £81 pp
Don't forget to book your flightPirates, are you up for a visit to this fairytale gem city known as the "Venice of the Alps"? Annecy sits at the tip of Lake Annecy, near the Swiss border and south of Geneva.
We've found cheap flights to Lyon to get you there, plus added in a great-value hotel, the B&B Hotel Annecy Argonay, for a 2-night mini-break with prices starting from £81. That's a crazy price.
Price breakdown
Flights = £29 per person
Hotel = £103 total/2 = £51.50 per person
Total = £80.50 per person
You can opt for return flights to Geneva from £78 per person to maximise your time in the city if you prefer. You'll just need to shift your hotel booking to the night before.
Example date: 6-8 October, 2026
📍B&B Hotel Annecy Argonay
Example: LON - LYS (Lyon) 6–8 October, 2026
Annecy doesn't have a commercial airport, so flying into Geneva or Lyon is your best bet. Grab a FlixBus or BlaBlaCar Bus right outside the arrivals terminal, it takes about an hour and costs roughly £10–£15 each way. Geneva is closer than Lyon, but both are great options.
The B&B Hotel Annecy Argonay is brilliant for saving a few quid, but it sits a bit out of the city centre. We'd recommend hiring a bicycle to get around, especially since there are many dedicated cycle paths and cycling around the lake is a beautiful activity in itself.
❗️This is a DIY trip, meaning you need to book the flights and hotel separately. Always lock in your live flight prices on Skyscanner before paying for a non-refundable room.
Pack a zero-fee travel card like Monzo, Starling, or Revolut so you don't get stung by dodgy exchange rates at the airport. Even more important if you're flying into Geneva, where they use Swiss Francs, before moving onto France (Euros).
October is the absolute sweet spot to visit. You get to explore the 'Venice of the Alps' without elbowing your way through the massive summer holiday crowds.
Example dates: 5–7 October, 2026
We might be pirates, but we’re an honest bunch. We check all our deals when we review them to make sure everything is available. However, with deals this hot, things change quickly—flight prices fluctuate, hotel rooms sell out, currencies yo-yo. And just so you know, local taxes might still apply – even treasure has its fine print. But mainly, demand for the best deals means the lowest prices don’t last long. If you’ve missed out this time, don’t worry, we’re working on more great offers.

💡 Quick heads up on this deal!
This is a "build it yourself" trip. 🛠️ That means you need to click the flight link to book your seat, and then click the hotel link to book your room. Two separate bookings, one amazing price.
Important: We don't own the inventory to these seats or rooms (we just hunt them down for you!), so we can't promise they'll stick around. 🤷♀️ Airline pricing algorithms are wild, and these fares can vanish in minutes.
Our advice? Check the flight price first. If it's still cheap, lock it in immediately, then sort the hotel. 🤞✈️
