Bali on a budget: 2-week trip in two spots from under £500 🏝️🐒

One of the things we love about Bali is how affordable it is once you get there, but flights are usually super expensive. However, we just found some for £429 return, if you don't mind a pretty long stopover of eight hours (you'll save around £400 vs flying direct or with shorter stops!).

The total trip is 14 nights, but a couple of these nights are travelling, and we've skipped the last night of accommodation since your flight home departs just after midnight.

That means you have 11 nights in hotels. We've split this between a hotel in well-rated 4-star hotel in Seminyak and Nusa Lembongan to give you time in Bali and some island time.

Price breakdown:

Flights: £429 return per person

5 nights in Seminyak at 4-star Sense Sunset Hotel Seminyak: £77 (£38.50 per person)

6 nights in Nusa Lemnongan at Nusa Sentana Lembongan Bali: £36 (£18 per person)

Total: £485.50 per person

Worth knowing: You'll need to grab a ferry over to Nusa Lembongan, it takes about 20 minutes and is cheap. Take travel sickness tablets.
