We've spotted cheap flights from a few UK airports on Skyscanner and scoped out cheap rates of £50 per night at the well-rated Casa Lit Barcelona by ONA Hotels -- I actually just stayed here myself on a solo trip and loved it. The room was huge, the location was ideal and, most importantly, it was a bargain! Just a week later, the hotel price increases to £173 per night!

Decent flight times mean you'll get plenty of time in the city too with an early arrival and late departure.
