Pirates, we're sure you've heard of Malta, but have you heard of its little sister island, Gozo? We took a trip there last year and it's one of the most beautiful places if you're looking for fewer crowds, authentic island vibes, turquoise waters, and beautiful sunsets, we could go on...

The hotel has amazing views of the harbour and is highly-rated on Tripadvisor, there's lots of lovely local restaurants within walking distance too.
