Head to Amster... ROTTERDAM! Yes, the Netherlands has *other* great cities

It turns out that after some extensive research, there are other cities in the Netherlands apart from Amsterdam to visit 😲 We were also shocked by this too.

Buy why go to Rotterdam and not just Amsterdam? Rotterdam has super bold architecture including the funky markthal which is home to an indoor market, and loads of restaurants, bars and shops.

It's got a totally different feel to the capital which, while definitely a lovely city, is super touristy and busy at the best of times. And look, if you do want to visit Amsterdam, it's less than 30 minutes' away by train.

For Rotterdam trips, you fly into Amsterdam.

But don't worry, this is normal. It's about a 25-minute train to Rotterdam (there is an airport in Rotterdam but it's quite small so all the cheap flights go into Amsterdam).
