Not many people know that Venice is actually split into the island of Venice (where all the famous canals are) and the mainland. The island is always way more expensive to stay on, but the mainland is just one stop from the island. This hotel is very well-connected, right next to Venezia Mestre train station (on the mainland) and will take you to Venezia Santa Lucia station (on Venice island) in just 10 minutes.
This deal is almost half the price of the well-rated four-star hotels on the island itself! This means more money for Aperol Spritz... who can say no to that?!
Although March is a bit chillier than the later spring months in Venice, you're likely to get some beautiful sunny Spring days, and it will be much less crowded on the narrow winding streets than later on in the year.
