Fancy checking out Portofino, one of Italy's most beautiful coastal villages? You better have some serious cash. We've had a good look around and 3-night packages start at around £600 per person – and that's only your flights and hotel.
Good thing your pirate friends know how to take the price right down. If you're willing to get creative, you can book a 3-night trip from £181 per person or a 6-nighter from £288.50 per person.
What is this black magic, you ask? First, you'll need a travel companion, as we've based everything on two people travelling. Second, you'll have to book flights, car hire and accommodation separately. And, you'll stay about 20 minutes' drive from Portofino (good thing we sorted car hire). But these are small sacrifices for a bargain trip to this special place.
The flights and car hire are through Kayak, and the accommodation is this apartment on HomeToGo. It's in Rapallo, which is a lovely town on the Ligurian Coast.
