About your stay
You'll be staying at the 5-star top-rated X10 Khao Lak, a luxurious resort that's right on the beach and about a 10-minute walk from the city centre.
The resort has five lagoon-style swimming pools (including one with a swim-up bar), two restaurants, two bars and a luxury spa.
Rooms are smart and modern with air-conditioning, TVs with satellite channels, free Wi-Fi and a private balcony or terrace to enjoy a bit of privacy if you don't want to sit round one of the pools.
Khao Lak is on Thailand's southwestern coast overlooking the Andaman Sea and about an hour's drive north of Phuket. It's generally less busy than other parts of Thailand but with some of the finest beaches and natural scenery in the country.
