You'll be staying at Akropoli Hotel, a three-star abode in the resort town of Durres. The hotel has been rated 8.2 on Booking.com, with its location being 9.5/10 - in fact, you're just a short walk from the beach!
Of course, you'll be staying off season so the beach might not be for you, however Albania has plenty to offer a new visitor: lush mountain scenery, a mix of Italian and Greek food (with an emphasis on seafood), and plenty of historic and archelogical sites around. You can start with the amphitheatre in Durres.
