How is it so cheap?

May is the start of the rainy season in Khao Lak, which runs until October. But because it's at the start, you can still expect 8 hours of sunshine daily and temperatures of around 30C, with rain showers being short. We looked up reviews for this time period, and they were positive, with photos showing sunshine and lazy days by the pool. So in our opinion it's worth the gamble, as prices are over 50%, and it will be less crowded.
