Amsterdam is a great place to visit, but in reality, it's super busy and expensive, and while the city is trying to shake its seedier side, you're still likely to encounter a lot of stag dos and teenagers stumbling around listening to Bob Marley and The Who if you catch our drift.
So give Utrecht a try! It's way smaller but still has beautiful canals and parks, loads of museums, and we've found a 2-night package - with flights and hotel included - starting from £233.
There are some cheaper packages out there, but this hotel is properly in the city centre and has great reviews.
You'll fly into Amsterdam, but can catch a 25-minute train into Utrecht that runs quite regularly. Or get a cab if you prefer, but the train will likely be faster and cheaper.
