Parents, you deserve a break more than most humans on the planet. Which is why we've found a bunch of hotels that can take your little-human off your hands and allow you some free time to actually relax.

The Ickworth, Suffolk

With such a fancy backdrop, you'd be forgiven for thinking this grand manor and Italian gardens ain't a place for kiddos. However, The Ickworth is made for families, with 1,800 acres of National Trust parkland to explore, indoor pool and the all-important on-site crèche. You get 90-minutes complimentary childcare per day in the Ofsted registered Four Bears Den. Children stay free if they sleep in their parent's room, however you can book interconnecting rooms too.

Calcot & Spa, Cotswolds

Describing itself as 'fully-geared up' for families, this lovely Cotswold manor and spa near Tetbury is the ideal place for parents to unwind. They have a Ofsted-registered crèche on-site, with a whopping four-hours a day complimentary care from qualified nannies. You can split this time between a morning session 9am-1pm and the afternoon session 1.30pm-5.30pm or book out a whole session. They also offer a free listening service, so parents can enjoy an evening meal with peace of mind. This one is pricier than most, but you get breakfast and access to their heavely spa too.

New Park Manor, New Forest

Situated in the New Forest area, this family hotel is juuuust right for weary folks. Indoor and outdoor pools, hot tubs and even a cinema room for older kids. Oh, and a state-of-the-art spa, thought we'd mention that too. They have a 90-minute complimentary crèche session for each night of your stay, video baby monitors, baby equipment and EVEN morning and evening milk and chef-prepared pureed baby food delivered to your room, each night, free of charge.

Fowey Hall, Cornwall

Located along Cornwall's lovely coastline, Fowey Hall is a pretty manor with a gorgeous view of the estuary below. They say proudly that a stay is 'family-holiday heaven' and with huge grounds, 90-minutes of free childcare each day and a free baby-listening service we'd have to agree.

This Georgian manor on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast has everything you'd need to keep little terrors busy, while you recuperate in style. Woolley Grange Hotel, Bradford-on-Avon

This lovely hotel near Bath has 14-acres of grounds to explore and even has glamping suites that open up in the summer.
