British holidaymakers who catch Covid and fall ill in Spain this summer will have to follow new rules.
With a steep rise of cases in the country, new guidelines have been introduced by the government.
If you have symptoms, or test positive for Covid, you should wear a mask, reduce social interactions and avoid crowded spaces and large events for ten days.
However, you are not required to self-isolate although your hotel or accommodation may have protocols in place.
The use of face masks remains mandatory for everyone on public transport, in chemists, hospitals and healthcare centres in the country.
