South Korea announced earlier this week its plans to reopen its borders to fully vaccinated international tourists after remaining closed to most of the outside world during the Covid-19 Pandemic.

New Covid-19 Entry Protocols

  • Fully vaccinated travellers will no longer require to quarantine upon arrival

  • Travellers will need to present a negative PCR test taken at least 48 hours prior to their flight departure

  • International tourists will be required to fill in their vaccination history on South Korea's Q-Code website

  • Children age 6 or younger do not need to present a negative test

The country is also facing one of its worst surges in cases since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, with record-high cases last week.
