Africa faces significant danger, particularly in sub-Saharan regions. Critical-risk countries include Libya, southern Algeria, Mauritania, Burkina Faso, Mali, Niger, Chad, Sudan, Ethiopia, and Somalia. Additionally, Central African Republic, northern Mozambique, northern Kenya, and eastern Democratic Republic of Congo are highly affected. Most of the continent is classified as high or medium risk, except for safer nations like Namibia, Botswana, and Morocco.
The Middle East remains highly volatile. Syria, with the ongoing conflict and unpredictable security conditions, is classified as high risk, along with Yemen, Israel, Afghanistan, western Pakistan, and eastern Iran.
In Asia, Myanmar is the only critical-risk country, while much of India, western China, and parts of Indonesia are considered high risk. Conversely, Japan, South Korea, Mongolia, Vietnam, Laos, Malaysia, and Australia are among the region’s safest, maintaining stability amid global unrest.
