It sounds too good to be true, doesn't it? There is a small catch... you'll need to give back to the community in some way to be accepted onto the exchange.

The lovely village of Ollolai that is looking for successful professionals who can work remotely and would like to contribute to the community to create a cultural exchange. The professionals may live for a month in a "blue zone" (an area where many people live to be over 100 years old) for €1 in exchange for knowledge in the form of classes, workshops, a presentation, etc.

Who can sign up?

The project's website says the following description: professionals and entrepreneurs with several years of experience in fields such as technology, media, finance, real estate, architecture, etc.

But professional artists, writers, musicians, scientists and academics may also apply.

When is the application deadline?

You can still apply for this fantastic project until the end of December.
