  • The Harry Potter Café is reopening
Edinburgh, Night, Scotland

🚨 Calling all Potterheads 🚨 The Harry Potter Café is reopening!

Not only that, the owners have also opened a second venue around the corner in Victoria Street, selling Butterscotch beer (basically Butter Beer from the movies)! 🍺⚡️🧙

Pirates, this is the closest you're probably ever going to get to meeting Harry Potter. You can sit in the exact café where JK Rowling wrote parts of her Harry Potter book, where she was inspired by the quaint surroundings. How dreamy 😍.

After closing down due to a fire in 2021, The Elephant House cafe in Edinburgh is now set to reopen in summer 2024! But if you can't wait that long, fear not. They have also opened a second café down the road with the same name. The Elephant café (part 2, the remix), truly embraces its Harry Potter heritage with its magical decor and even sells Butterscotch Beer!

The table JK Rowling sat at, whilst writing the books was salvaged from the fire and restored. It is currently in the new Elephant House on Victoria Street, which opened this month!

This is the ultimate pilgrimage for HP fans, would you visit? Find out more information here.
