What's better than chilling with loads of dogs? Chillin' with them under the Northern Lights in Lapland!
Here's your chance to do it! Husky Dream is looking for volunteers to look after 40 huskies in Swedish Lapland during the aurora season. And good news: there is still time to apply!
Take care of huskies in Lapland!
Seeing the Northern Lights is on many bucket lists, including our own! So here's THE way to enjoy it without breaking the bank: go and take care of a colony of huskies in the beautiful Kiruna region of northern Sweden. You'll work in the B&B 'Husky Dreams', among the 40 huskies living on site!
This is a volunteer position offered by Worldpackers : this means that there is no salary, but accommodation and meals are included. You will however be able to get tips from customers, use the on-site bikes and a car, and of course, spend time with the dogs and exploring the surrounding area, which is truly magical at this time of year!
How to apply?
Before you apply, note that there are a few conditions to meet:
- You must be over 22
- Speak English
- You must have a driving license
- In addition (but this is more of an advantage), your stay must last more than a month , during the high season in winter.
However, there are possibilities to go in summer (during the midnight sun) with the same host.
