Opera has launched "Hygge Desk", a unique experience that allows 10 people to live and work remotely for 6 days in a comfortable Scandinavian cabin in the heart of Norway's most beautiful landscapes.

But what does "Hygge" even mean?! It's a Nordic concept that is about taking time away from the daily rush to be together with people you care about - or even by yourself - to relax and enjoy life's quieter pleasures. This program aims to demonstrate that working in a peaceful and inspiring environment can increase productivity. Sounds good, right?

The lucky ones who are selected will be entitled to an all-inclusive stay, including return flights, car rental and private accommodation. The cabins are located in famous locations such as the Lysefjord, Lofoten, Norefjell, Bodø and Ålesund, offering stunning scenery, as well as a whole lot of peace and quiet. Ideal.

At the same time, Opera also encourages its users to create their own hygge atmosphere at home by downloading the Opera browser, which offers smooth, stress-free navigation with themes inspired by Scandinavian nature.

To try your luck, simply submit your application on the Opera website and explain in an original and creative way why you deserve this experience. Applications are open until February 28, 2025.

The winners will be announced on March 5, 2025, and the stays will take place between March and April 2025.
