Once an insider’s secret, this charming pasta shop is now well-known, but still definitely worth a visit. Anyone who’s been to Rome knows that dining out can quickly become pricey, but here, you’ll find delicious homemade pasta dishes at great value. Whether you take them away or enjoy them at one of the standing tables, the rotating menu always includes a vegetarian option. 😍

On a warm summer evening, if you’re lucky, you might snag a seat on the terrace, with a few chairs set up in a charming alley next to the restaurant. This restaurant offers a very special experience for the price. Here you can watch the nonnas from outside as they make fresh, handmade pasta, which you can then order in a delicious sauce. Here you almost feel like you are sitting at your Italian nonna's kitchen table and eating a warm, cozy portion of love. But make sure you make a reservation! 🙌

With a crispy base and mouth-watering toppings, these pizzas are an absolute must-try. 😮💨 However, getting a table can be tricky at certain times of the day, as the place is always packed, so be prepared to wait a bit. One thing I can’t go without in Italy, besides cappuccino, is... tiramisu and, of course, gelato! 🤤 So, I was more than happy to hunt down the best in town. And trust me, not everything that looks good actually tastes good. Here’s a tip for finding great gelato in Italy: always look out for shops that “hide” their ice cream. This doesn’t mean the ones with mountains of ice cream piled up in the freezers, but rather the ones that store it in silver boxes with lids on the counter. 💡
🍨 The best gelato: Frigidarium, La Romana, Flor Gelato, Giolitti
☕️ The best tiramisu: Pompi Tiramisù, Two Sizes
