Where can you find the beer fountain?

The Green Gold fountain was installed in Žalec, Slovenia. It's located in a hops-growing area celebrating this tradition. Instead of water, you can pour some beer from the fountain, made by Slovenia's micro brewers.

Is it free?

Not quite. From six taps, you can pour six times 1 dcl of beer -- all different varieties. In order to work the fountain, you need a mug with a chip, which you can buy in various locations in the town. You can keep the mug afterwards as a souvenir. It's 11 euros, so just under ÂŁ10.

Where can you find the fountain?

It's located in Žalec's town park, in the town centre (right next to the marketplace). It's designed to look like a hop flower and kind of has like a half circle, one is a beer fountain, one a water fountain.
