Want to travel the world but can't bear to leave your furry friend behind? How about you share your travel experiences with them...?
The world's first dog cruise is about to take place! 🐾
A US shipping company has come up with a pawsome idea – the world’s first-ever dog cruise! It’s all happening on the Margaritaville at Sea Islander, a cruise ship based in the States. This unique trip will welcome up to 250 dogs along with their human companions, organised by Cruise Tails and Expedia Cruises.
This isn’t just any old cruise, it's going to feature lots of tail-wagging fun! There’ll be goodies, tasty food samples for the pups, dog shows and training sessions, guest speakers, costume competitions, and even parades. To top it all off, pampered pooches can enjoy on-board grooming services and relaxing doggie massages.
The cruise only stops at dog-friendly destinations. Plus, every dog will have access to their own private emergency loo on the balcony, and a pet butler is on-hand 24/7 – only the best for our four-legged friends.
This is massive deal because most cruise ships don’t allow pets at all, and if they do, they’re stuck in kennels.
Fancy jumping aboard? Well, here’s the catch – booking isn’t as simple as clicking a button. You’ll need to apply, providing proof of your dog’s vaccinations and health. The cruise is set to depart from Tampa, Florida, in 2025, with pricing details coming soon. According to Cruise Tails, applications could open as early as the first week of December, so get ready to fetch your spot!
