Val di Sole is flipping the script with their new "DoiMan" project, part of the wider āOpen for Kindnessā initiative. But donāt expect your average loyalty scheme, this is all about celebrating kindness in action, whether itās caring for the environment, supporting locals or just being a decent human.
From 9 June to 27 July 2025, anyone visiting the valley can take part just by doing something kind. So, what counts as kind?
Picking up litter while out on a hike
Shopping at local stores instead of big chains
Sticking to marked trails and respecting wildlife
Joining an organised clean-up event
Simple stuffābut it all adds up!
Each good deed can be logged on the official platform at openforkindness.visitvaldisole.it by uploading a photo and filling out a quick form. The more kind actions you record, the higher your chances of winning! On 8 August 2025, one lucky winner will be drawn and treated to a free holiday in Trentinoāplus some epic outdoor experiences š»
š± D-Kind: the app that makes sustainability fun
But thatās not all. If you're into challenges, games and a bit of friendly competition with mates or fellow travellers, Val di Sole has created the D-Kind appāavailable from 14 June to 31 August 2025.
With D-Kind, you can take on daily sustainability missions, answer quizzes about the local area and its traditions, and collect points to trade in for rewards or cool experiences like rafting, guided hikes or yoga in the woods.
The idea is to make travel more active and thoughtful. The app is inclusive and super easy to useāgreat for families, groups of mates or solo Pirates. Itās also a brilliant way to uncover hidden spots around Val di Sole that you might otherwise miss.
