It's always a good time to visit London, but we're here to tell you why January is a great time to go.😍

Cheaper accommodation

You can often find cheaper rates on hotels throughout January.💰

Also, week nights are not necessarily the cheapest. London has many business travellers who need hotels during the week, so you can sometimes grab a real bargain rate at the weekend.

Food and drinks offers

From people doing dry January, to being a bit skint after the festive period, January isn't really the month we go out. Restaurants and bars know this and will put on amazing offers to try to entice us.

You will see things like 2-4-1 cocktails, money off meals, free beer and even £2 tacos.🌮🍹

If there is somewhere you fancy going, check out their social media channels to see if they have any offers on.

Theatre sale

For any theatre-loving pirates, January is a good time to catch a theatre show at a bargain price.🤩

Official Londontheatre.com has a New Year sale on with tickets for £10, £20, £30, £40 and £50 in January (and February).

Shop the sales

Our bank accounts might be a littler lighter after December, but we can't resist hitting the January sales. London has to be one of the best places for shopping, it has everything from massive department stores to cute independent shops to markets galore.

It's not just physical shops that have sales, you will be able to find online bargains for many London attractions.🎟️

Less crowded

Yes, we know, London is never really quiet, but in January you will find it a little less busy. The festive period is over, and the summer crowds are long gone.

There should hopefully be smaller queues at many attractions and places you wish to visit, including the bar.😜

Another small win is the weather is cooler, so it won't be as hot on the tube.🥵
