Our selection of incredible pools with amazing views
Mateys, we know how much you love a good infinity pool. As summer approaches, we thought we would give you a little inspiration for your next warm-weather holiday. From Costa Rica and the Caribbean to Tanzania and the Philippines (and many more in between!), we've rounded up the best infinity pools around the world as well as their more affordable counterparts.
The 5-star, top-rated hotel is located in the picturesque Santorini town of Oia. You can expect to pay an average of £420 a night for 2 people. The real deal, however, is in the four-person family suite; which you can find from £177 a night, per person. Still expensive, but not totally crazy for a special occasion considering the 2-bedroom apartment comes with a private pool.
Costa Rica is a great destination for Brits who don't know a lot of Spanish or want to live that expat life abroad. A night at the 5-star Kura Boutique Hotel comes with a pretty hefty price tag at around £644 a night. Did we mention it comes with free breakfast?
The views from your suite and the infinity pool might make the price worth it for some, but it is definitely a bucket list type hotel.
For those looking for a more affordable alternative that still has an infinity pool with a view, you can book the adults-only TikiVillas Rainforest Lodge from £292 a night.
Another 5-star luxury hotel, but this time in the Maldives. Unfortunately, at the moment, it looks like you have to book the hotel for four nights or more, and at £1,500 a night it is not too much of a bargain.
Let's be honest, do you really need a pool when you are on your own little private island? We personally don't think so. Why not try the 4-star Eriyadu Island Resort instead? The price tag is a lot more affordable with rooms from £70 a night and if you do need it, there is also a pool. Your wallet will definitely thank you!
At HolidayPirates, we have seen a lot of beautiful hotels in Bali but we think this one takes the cake. Located in Ubud, this 5-star hotel is known by many Instagrammers as the Hanging Gardens of Bali. A night here starts from £290, which for Bali is a lot (though you can still pay more).
Luckily, Bali has a wealth of beautiful hotels, so if you are looking for something a little less pricey it shouldn't be too difficult. While it might be harder to find a 4-star hotel with these views under £100, we were able to find something very similar at the 3-star Villa Tegal Tis from £54 a night.
Synonymous with luxury, it is no surprise that a night in this Four Seasons Safari Lodge doesn't come cheap. A night will set you back £1,000, but if you've ever dreamed of swimming in a pool while watching elephants or other safari animals graze below, then this is certainly the place to do it!
You shouldn't be too surprised to hear that there aren't a lot of budget safari lodge options in the Serengeti, especially ones with infinity pools. However, we did find a beautiful 5-star hotel that has an infinity pool that overlooks the African plains and all-inclusive rates from £281 a night. Not bad, right?
Another jaw-dropping 5-star hotel but this time in Mexico! Welcome to the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. This hotel is beachfront property at its finest. A king room with an ocean view starts from £922 a night. The rooms each come with personal infinity pools in case you want a little more privacy.
While it might not be an infinity pool, it does have a view and the price is certainly right! You can find rooms from £66 a night and it includes breakfast!
The 5-star Shangri-La Resort and Spa is pure beachfront bliss. The villas and suites come with a butler as well as either a private pool or outdoor hot tub. The resort even comes with a private beach and features two pools. Talk about luxury! Normal rooms start from £214 and include breakfast and free airport transfer, while villas start from £509.
You don't have to spend a lot to find a nice pool in Boracay. Case in point, this 4-star resort has rooms from £44 a night! While the hotel isn't beachfront property, the view is still stunning and just think of all the things you could do with the money you save.
