Vlore is located on a beautiful bay where the Adriatic Sea and the Ionian Sea meet and is about 2 hours south of Tirana. The city is busy, and, in the high season from July, it can also get a little crowded on the beaches.
👉 Those who love total tranquillity can take a boat to the Karaburun Peninsula – an oasis of pristine white pebbly beaches.
👉 Another tip is Zvernec, a monastery from the Byzantine Empire. Here you can walk among pine trees by the water, visit an old church and stroll through sleepy monks' grounds.
👉 40 km south of Vlore is the Llogara National Park. Albania's most beautiful vantage points are probably waiting for you here! Of course, you can also go hiking here.
