Holidaymakers just need to provide a negative test on arrival
In breaking news, Portugal has confirmed that British holidaymakers will be welcome to visit from 17 May.
Portugal has lifted its travel ban to allow Brits to fly to the country on Monday.
Portuguese foreign affairs minister, Augusto Santos Silva, announced the move after speculation that the country might maintain its ban on non-essential travel but that hasn't happened.
Holidaymakers will now be able to travel to the country provided they have a negative PCR test result that was taken within 72 hours of departure.
Portugal is one of 12 countries on the UK's Green List that allows holidaymakers to return without quarantining.
