As Pirates, we can honestly say that this is the most pirate island in the world. It is called "Le Pirate Island" and is located in Indonesia. So grab a bottle of rum and let's go on a pirate journey, where a picturesque beach, coral reef and amazing accommodation await!

Details

Le Pirate Island is an hour's boat ride from Flores Island. It is the perfect place to get away from the whole world and hide among the heavenly beaches and the turquoise ocean. Best of all, there are no electronics or internet on this island! There are, however, delicious drinks at the bar.

Guests can choose from stylish tents or huts. There are only 10 such accommodations on the island, so you don't have to worry about the island being overrun with tourists.

The tents are either directly on the beach or a little further back in the second row. Each tent has its own bathroom and sunbathing area.

The huts are built on stilts so that you can ocean and beach from above. There is a bedroom upstairs and a shaded area below in case you want to escape the sun.

It sounds beautiful, but such an amazing experience is bound to be expensive, right?

Think again! You can book beach huts from £50 a night; a glamping suite in a back row from £70 a night; or a beachfront glamping suite from £80 a night — each of which comes with full-board!

How do you get to the island? Catch a daily boat from Labuan Bajo on island of Flores to Le Pirate Island. The journey takes an hour. You can get to Flores from Denpasar (Bali) or Kupang (Timor).

If you don't wish to spend the night there, you can take a day trip to the island.
