Luxury and affordable are usually two words that you don't often hear together but not today, pirates! We know how much you love a good deal and that is why we wanted to share this dreamy Thai design hotel with you.
Located on the island of Koh Samui, perched on a hill, facing the beach, this resort is a lot more affordable than you would expect. Just how affordable? Read on to find out!
Welcome to The Villa The Spot located on the Thai island Koh Samui.
The resort features a restaurant, bar, shared kitchen, lush gardens, two infinity pools and a terrace. In addition, the pool is open all year round.
The resort has been rated 4/5 on TripAdvisor and is praised by guests for having the best views in Koh Samui.
So what do you think a night at this beautiful resort would cost? We've found rates from £71 per night in 2023. That's just £35.50 per person, per night. Talk about a steal!
How to reach Koh Samui
We recommend flying to either Phuket or Bangkok. From there, you can take a direct flight, lasting approximately 1 hour, to Koh Samui. Ticket prices are around £100 return, although if you prefer a cheaper option and don't mind a longer journey then you can go by bus and ferry which costs around £27. If you choose the longer way, be prepared to take multiple forms of transportation to reach your destination as is often the case travelling anywhere in Thailand.
While you're there, why not island-hop to the different islands in the area. We can highly recommend checking out Koh Tao and Koh Pha Ngan.
