Fiji reopens its doors after 2 years - here's what we know so far!
After almost two years of being closed to the outside world, Fiji is reopening to fully vaccinated international travellers on December 1st. The best part is you won't need to quarantine upon arrival!
Fully-vaccinated travellers from the UK, will be able to enter Fiji for the first time in almost two years. The entry rules, according to Fiji Tourism Website, will be as follow:
Currently, Fiji recognises Astra-Zeneca, Pfizer, Moderna, and Johnson & Johnson vaccines
Full vaccination means you waited an additional 14 days after your final vaccine dose
Travellers must have medical travel insurance, with international coverage specifically for COVID-19
Everyone over the age of 12 must present a negative PCR-Test no more than 72 hours before traveling
All travellers will need to stay at a Care Fiji Committed accommodation, which ensures that everyone you interact with will be fully vaccinated.
You will need to take a Rapid COVID-19 test at a CFC-certified resort 48 hours after your arrival; however, you will still be able to move freely through the islands during this timeframe.
