1. Which countries have the best choices for hotels with water park?
For short- to mid-haul flights, you'd be looking at a great choice of hotels with water parks in Turkey, the Greek Islands, Spain, Egypt, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Morocco. If you want to travel further, there's a good range of hotel choices in the Caribbean.
2. How can HolidayPirates users find a water park hotel/holiday in the TUI portfolio?
If you're looking for a water park hotel in the TUI portfolio, look out for the SplashWorld logo. These hotels have been vetted by us and include a minimum number of attractions. Turkey, for example, has got some hotels with huge water parks. The Aqua Fantasy Aquapark hotel has a water park with 30 slides! Or, Pegasos World in Antalya has 13 white-knucklers.
3. Any tips and tricks on what our users should think about when they book?
It all depends on your individual situation. If you're an adult who wants to go without kids, our tip would be to go off-peak -- this way you'll be able to avoid the crowds.
It's also worth thinking about booking an all-inclusive package. This usually means you'll know your spend on holiday beforehand. Most of the hotels with water parks offer these packages, but if you like a different board, make sure there are plenty of restaurant options in or around the hotel.
If you are travelling with kids, read up about what age the slides and water parks can be used from. Most hotels with water parks have areas even for the littlest ones.
4. Are hotels with water parks open all-year round, or are they seasonal?
Most of the hotels in Europe, where it's cold in the winter months, are seasonal. Tenerife has Europe's biggest water park, Siam Park, and we're offering hotel packages where you get access for free, so even in the winter months you could go on a Canary Islands holiday with water park access.
If you're looking to go to a hotel with a water park that's open all-year round, you'd be looking for a destination, that's hot all-year round, such as the Caribbean or Morocco.
5. Are water parks included in your hotel stay, or is this an additional charge?
If you book an all-inclusive package with TUI, the water park entry would be included. That mustn't be the case for all travel providers, though, so definitely check the policy before you book to make sure you'll get what you want out of your holiday.
6. Family question: From what age in a child would you recommend going on a holiday with water parks and slides?
Once children are confident in water and can easily walk and slide, you could be going on your first water park holiday. Just make sure, when you book, you check if there's an age appropriate area for your little one.
